Nutcraft legal
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the operator of Nutcraft (“Nutcraft,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) may collect, use, retain, disclose, and protect information when you use the Nutcraft mobile application, visit its official pages, or contact support. The information involved depends on the features and services you choose to use.
Not every category described below is processed in every version of Nutcraft or for every user. A category applies only when the corresponding feature or service is available, used, and involves that information.
1. Information We May Collect
We may process the following categories of information when they are relevant to the App, support, security, or related services:
- Account and profile information: email address, display name, profile image, authentication token, account identifier, and sign-in provider information when you choose to register or sign in.
- Device and technical information: device model, operating-system version, language, region, time zone, screen characteristics, network type, IP address, App version, installation identifier, and advertising identifier where permitted.
- Gameplay and activity information: levels, scores, stars, achievements, attempts, completion times, hints, interactions, session duration, feature usage, preferences, and other game events.
- Analytics and diagnostics: crash reports, error records, performance measurements, launch information, responsiveness, battery or memory indicators, and technical logs used to understand reliability and usage.
- Advertising information: advertising identifier, ad impressions, interactions, attribution data, campaign information, and consent status where advertising or measurement services are used.
- Support communications: your email address, message, attachments, screenshots, and device or App details that you voluntarily provide when requesting help.
- Legal and security information: records reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, investigate misuse, protect users, respond to lawful requests, and enforce applicable terms.
Please do not send passwords, payment-card numbers, government identifiers, health records, or other sensitive information in a support email.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
Nutcraft may store game records and preferences locally on your device using standard iOS storage. These records may include completed and unlocked levels, scores, stars, attempts, timing records, answer statistics, achievements, onboarding state, haptic settings, and motion preferences.
Local information helps the App remember your progress and choices. You can remove it through the App’s reset option, where available, or by deleting the App. Information may remain temporarily in an Apple-managed device or cloud backup according to your Apple settings. Apple controls those backups under its own policies.
3. How We May Use Information
Information may be used to:
- Provide, operate, personalize, and maintain the App and related services;
- Save, restore, or synchronize progress and preferences;
- Measure engagement, understand gameplay patterns, and improve balance or usability;
- Diagnose crashes, resolve compatibility issues, and improve security and performance;
- Respond to support requests, feedback, privacy inquiries, and legal communications;
- Deliver, limit, personalize, and measure advertising where advertising is available;
- Detect fraud, abuse, automated activity, security incidents, or violations of our terms;
- Comply with applicable law and protect the rights, safety, and property of users, the public, and Nutcraft; and
- Carry out a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or transfer of the App, subject to applicable safeguards.
4. Advertising, Identifiers, and Tracking Choices
Advertising and measurement partners may process device, advertising, interaction, and attribution information to deliver ads, limit repetition, prevent fraud, and measure campaign performance. Where Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework or another consent rule applies, permission will be requested before information is used for tracking as defined by the applicable platform or law.
You can manage tracking permission in iOS Settings and may also be able to limit personalized advertising through device or service settings. Denying tracking permission does not necessarily remove all advertising; it may result in contextual or less personalized ads.
5. When Information May Be Shared
We do not sell personal information for money. Information may be disclosed in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: hosting, cloud storage, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, security, advertising, and other vendors that perform services on our behalf.
- Advertising and measurement partners: partners that provide, attribute, secure, or measure advertising, subject to platform settings and applicable consent requirements.
- Legal and safety reasons: when disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or a valid government request, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transactions: in connection with a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or transfer of the App.
- With your direction or consent: when you ask us to share information or authorize a particular disclosure.
- Aggregated or de-identified information: information prepared so that it cannot reasonably be linked to an individual.
We require service providers that receive personal information from or through the Service to use it only for authorized purposes and to provide the same or equivalent protection described in this Policy.
6. Third-Party Services and Platforms
The App and its official pages may interact with services supplied by Apple and other providers, including app distribution, sign-in, cloud hosting, analytics, diagnostics, advertising, email, and website hosting. Those providers may process information under their own privacy notices and legal obligations.
Our public support and legal pages may be hosted through GitHub Pages. A hosting provider normally processes network request information, such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and request time, to deliver and secure the website. External links are governed by the destination’s own privacy practices.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including operation of the App, progress synchronization, support, analytics, advertising measurement, security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Retention periods may differ according to the type of information, the service involved, account status, and applicable law.
Local game records remain on your device until reset, removed with the App, or affected by device and backup settings. You may request deletion of information associated with you by emailing us. We may ask for reasonable verification and may retain limited records when required by law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the information and services involved. These measures may include access controls, secure transmission, service-provider review, monitoring, and procedures intended to reduce unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss.
No website, email service, device, storage system, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. Children’s Privacy
Nutcraft is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children below the minimum age applicable in their location without the authorization required by law. If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided personal information, they may contact us to request review and deletion.
10. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a copy of personal information, and to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing. You may also have the right to appeal a decision or contact a local data-protection authority.
You can manage local progress through Nutcraft’s settings, manage platform permissions in iOS Settings, and manage email preferences through the options provided in relevant communications. To submit a privacy request, contact us at the email below. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.
11. International Processing
Information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live. Privacy and data-protection laws may differ between jurisdictions. Where required, we and our providers use recognized safeguards for international transfers.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App, services, technology, legal requirements, or business practices. The revised page will display a new “Last updated” date. Additional notice may be provided through the App, website, or another appropriate channel when required.
